ABOUT US
Vetbiologicals is a company specialized in the development and distribution of biomaterials for veterinary ophthalmology.
Since 2015, we have worked on solutions tailored to real needs in clinical practice. We began with AMNIOVET™, the first cryopreserved bovine amniotic membrane designed specifically for corneal reconstruction in animals. To improve storage and handling in certain contexts, we later developed AMNIODRY™, a lyophilized version that maintains clinical effectiveness while offering greater logistical flexibility.
Our multidisciplinary team includes biologists, veterinarians, and pharmacists focused on research and development. We operate in facilities designed to ensure optimal conditions for tissue processing, asepsis, and microbiological control. Each step—from tissue collection to product distribution—is carried out under strict protocols for traceability and quality assurance.
We work in close collaboration with leading veterinary ophthalmologists, both nationally and internationally, to ensure clinical relevance and help improve surgical outcomes.
OUR MISSION
To contribute to the advancement of veterinary ophthalmology through the development of safe, useful, and clinically relevant biomaterials.
One of our main goals is to adapt the progress made in tissue-based technologies in human ophthalmology to the veterinary field, addressing the specific needs of animals and the professionals who care for them.
Our approach is grounded in direct collaboration with clinical professionals, actively listening to their insights; in the strict application of protocols for tissue sourcing and processing; in a strong and ongoing commitment to applied research; and in providing personalized support both before and after product use.
We offer free online training, guidance in the implementation of our products, and clinical advice at no cost for cases that require it. We believe that a product’s value extends beyond the surgical procedure—it is also built through follow-up and support for those who use it.
